½ teaspoon light brown sugar

1 teaspoon chili powder

¼ teaspoon ground cumin

¼ oz of dried seaweed

1/8 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

3 ounce halibut filet

1 teaspoon olive oil

Nonstick cooking spray



  1. Coat your grill with nonstick cooking spray, and preheat for medium heat.

  2. While the grill is heating, combine the brown sugar, chili powder, cumin, dried seaweed, salt and pepper.

  3. Brush filet with 1/2 teaspoon of the oil, then rub on spice mixture.

  4. Grill the fish until charred, 4 to 5 minutes.

  5. Flip and cook another 5 to 6 minutes for medium doneness.

  6. Remove and serve immediately.
